Cyclamen
I don't know about you, but I crave flowers in the winter. Cyclamen are one of my favorite winter Pick Me Ups. The flowers found in shades of red, pink, mauve, violet or white remind me of small sailing ships scooting across a gentle Caribbean ocean of mottled heart shaped leaves. Winter is way too long in Saskatchewan!)
If grown in cool conditions, cyclamen will flower from January to April. That’s just long enough to feed my flower addiction until spring returns.
