Theresa Bugnet is a hardy rose bred by George Bugnet from Legal, Alberta. At Dutch Growers, we've been growing this rose for over 50 years. Even with all the new improved roses, Theresa Bugnet's winter hardiest, fragrant flowers, and attractive orange rose hips earn it a place in our garden.
Theresa Bugnet will have an initial flush of flowers in early summer and then bloom off and on until freeze up. Removing spent flowers will encourage more blooming. Theresa blooms on old wood, so don't prune severely in spring or fall. You'll be removing next summer's flowers.
