Directions for Use: Apply the bait evenly at approximately 2 grams per square meter on the soil around or near the plants to be protected from slugs or snails. Product may be dispensed directly from the container to small areas as a spot treatment or can be applied using a handheld spreader. For broadcast application, standard broadcast spreaders may be used. For row application, standard granular spreaders may be used. Reapply as the bait is consumed or every 14 days where slugs and snails continue to be a problem. Do not place bait in heaps. If the ground is dry, wet the soil before applying the bait. The soil should be moist but with little or no standing water. Do not apply to foliage or other plant parts. Evening is the best time to apply the bait, as slugs and snails travel and feed mostly by night or early morning. This bait protects vegetables and flower gardens, ornamental shrubs, berry plants, and fruit trees from slugs and snails. Circling the garden plot or plant/shrubs/trees with bait effectively creates a barrier to slugs and snails, but if slugs/snails are within the plot the bait will need to be scattered around the plants as well. All likely areas of infestation should be treated, especially around the perimeter of garden plots because these pests travel into plant areas for day time refuges. They favor damp, shady places around plants. DO NOT contaminate irrigation or drinking water supplies or aquatic habitats by cleaning of equipment or disposal of wastes. Although phytotoxicity is not expected, it is recommended that a small group of test plants or small area be treated with Safer's Slug and Snail Killer before treating an entire crop.
Environmental Hazards: Do not apply directly to water.
Disposal: Do not reuse empty container. Dispose of empty container with household garbage.
