Outdoor/Indoor Plants: Mix 1/2 cup of product into every 2 to 5 gallons of potting soil. Apply more product every 4 weeks on top of the soil there after. If plant is already potted place 1/2 cup of product per 3-5 gallons of soil every 4 weeks on top of soil surface and cover with a thin layer of soil. Now just water.

Garden/Shrub Area: Place 1/4 cup of product at base of newly seeded plant every 4 weeks. Now just water. For mature trees or shrubs place 1 cup of product at the base of each tree/shrub every 6 to 8 weeks. Now just water. For gardens or flower/shrub beds, spread entire contents over 100 square ft of soil surface every 6 to 8 weeks. Mix into the soil thoroughly where possible and water.
