Seeding Time: Seed in Spring or Fall, avoiding the Summer heat and late season frost. Ideal soil temperature is 8-10 degrees Celsius, or when daytime temperatures reach 15 degrees Celsius consistently.
Seed bed preparation: Add topsoil or till to a depth of 10-12cm for a firm seed bed. Remove any weeds that may grow after tilling. Evenly seed at the recommended rate. Lightly rake and roll the area for good soil-seed contact. Ensure the seed is not covered by more than 1/2cm of soil
Post Seeding Care: Ensure sufficient watering and moisture in the first season and mow the stand and regularly once established
Please note: To maintain the “micro” characteristics of micro clover, it’s important to mow it on a regular basis. Left unmown, it will grow as typical white clover with increasing lead size and longer stems.
