Light: Place your hydrangea in a bright location, but avoid direct sunlight. 

 

Water: Hydrangeas are very thirsty plants! Water them thoroughly, but do not allow them to become soggy. They want to drink, not float. Check to see if your Hydrangea needs water every day by sticking your finger into the soil. If the plant gets too dry, the petals will start to curl and become dry.
