Lemon Ponderosa's are a hybrid of a pomelo, and a citron. They look very similar to a lemon, although they are more the size of a grapefruit. The fruit itself is juicy and extremely acidic.

Lemon Ponderosa Care

	Light:	At least 6 hours of sunlight per day, morning sun and afternoon shade is best.
	Water:	Keep the soil moist, and allow to only slightly dry out between waterings.
	Soil:	Well-draining soil.
	Humidity:	Does great in average household humidity but will appreciate a boost from time to time. Regular misting, using a pebble tray, or placing a humidifier nearby are great ways to increase humidity for your Ficus.
	Fertilizer:	Fertilize regularly in the summer months (March to September) with a high nitrogen fertilizer. Withhold in the winter months (November to February).

 

To Note: Prune lemon clusters down to one or two fruits once they reach the size of marbles. If looking to produce larger lemons remove all but one bud in a cluster before it fruits.
